ET Naturalists

ET ran, for many years, the largest program of whale naturalists in Hawaii. These highly trained scientists would be accredited by Earthtrust, working with state and federal authorities, to lecture aboard whalewatching vessels and help monitor adherence to whale-protection laws.
Once this program became widely copied and the
training was duplicated, Earthtrust phased itself out of the whale-naturalist
program, since its mission is to remain on the cutting edge, and
not duplicate the work of other groups. Even so, the dozens of
ET naturalists certified under the program are still out in the
world doing good work.
